Super Position Theorem

Superposition Theorem is applicable only to linear circuits (circuits with linear elements like resistors, inductors, and capacitors).

It is used when a circuit contains two or more independent sources.

Consider one independent source at a time while deactivating all other independent sources.

Voltage Source OFF → Short Circuit

Current Source OFF → Open Circuit
